Privacy Policy

Andromeda Books Agent (the "App") is an internal tool of Andromeda Tech, LLC ("Andromeda"). This policy explains what QuickBooks data the App uses and how that data is protected.
What data the App accesses
The App connects only to Andromeda's own QuickBooks Online company, using the QuickBooks accounting permission. It reads and updates Andromeda's accounting records: the chart of accounts, vendors, customers and projects, and transactions such as expenses, bills, and invoices. The App does not access any other company's data. It is designed not to read or store tax identification numbers or bank account numbers.
How the data is used
Only for Andromeda's own bookkeeping, reconciliation, contract cost tracking, and financial reporting. Andromeda may use AI assistants it has authorized to help review and prepare its own records, and only for Andromeda's purposes.
Where the data is stored
The App runs on computers controlled by Andromeda. The access tokens issued by Intuit are stored in a file outside the App's source code, readable only by the authorized user's account. They are never written to source control, logs, or this website. Working files and logs the App produces stay on Andromeda's systems.
Sharing
Andromeda does not sell or rent this data, and does not share it except with its own accountants, auditors, and government customers as its contracts or the law require.
Retention
Accounting records are kept as federal contracting rules and tax law require. Access tokens are deleted when the App is disconnected.
Disconnecting
An administrator can revoke the App's access at any time, either through the App's disconnect command or in QuickBooks Online under Settings > Apps.
